Blood Tide

As part of casting this spell, you must expend six Hit Point Dice or the spell automatically fails.

A gout of blood forming a 100-foot-long, 10-foot-wide Line [Area of Effect] blasts out from you in a direction you choose. Each creature in the Line [Area of Effect] must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, the creature is pushed 100 feet away from you in a direction following the Line [Area of Effect], has the Prone condition, and takes Bludgeoning damage equal to a roll of the Hit Point Dice expended on the spell plus your spellcasting ability modifier. On a successful save, the creature takes half as much damage only.
