Campaign
Shivath
In the aftermath of the First Wild Hunt, the world of Shivath lay scarred and shaken. Humanity, humbled by the unstoppable force that swept through their cities and forests, turned to Eldarionne—the embodiment of the divine natural world—for solace and guidance. With antlers aglow like constellations woven through ancient branches, Eldarionne offered their protection, teaching mortals the songs of balance and the sacred dance of nature.
For a time, humanity listened. Under Eldarionne’s nurturing influence, a fragile peace blossomed. Forests were revered, rivers flowed undisturbed, and mortals began to understand their place in the intricate web of life. But as the years passed, the memory of past terrors faded, and ambition crept into the hearts of men. Whispers of untold power slumbering within the World Tree began to spread among those who sought dominion over their world.
Though Eldarionne was not the guardian of the World Tree itself, its vitality resonated within them like a heartbeat shared with the land. The desecration that followed was more than an act of mere greed—it was an affront to the natural order Eldarionne cherished. A faction of mortals, driven by the promise of unparalleled power, sought to siphon the life force of the World Tree, defying the sanctity of nature and unraveling the trust Eldarionne had woven so delicately.
Hurt and disillusioned, Eldarionne’s voice, once a guiding presence in the songs of the wind and whispers of the woods, fell silent. They withdrew from the lands of humanity, retreating to the untouched heart of the wilds where the primeval woods cradled them in silence. The world grew colder without their touch; the rustle of leaves became a mourning dirge, and nature itself seemed to recoil.
In Eldarionne’s absence, the Primordial Wardens—keepers of balance and enforcers of nature’s will—rose to pass judgment. Their fury was swift, and they transformed those who had dared defile the natural order into Skinwalkers: beings forever caught between man and beast, cursed to bear the duality of their hubris. These creatures became living symbols, warnings of the folly in seeking to dominate what must remain sacred.
Now, Eldarionne holds a deep mistrust toward humanity. Where once they embraced mortals with boundless compassion, a guarded wariness now shades their heart. Yet, within the shadows of doubt, a small ember of hope persists. For Eldarionne, intertwined with the cycles of renewal, knows that change is possible. In the whispers of leaves and the songs of streams, their presence lingers, a silent guardian waiting for the day humanity might reclaim its respect for nature and earn a place within the harmony they once held dear.
