Campaign
Shivath
In the dawn of the Second Era, as Shivath struggled against the chaos of shadows and corruption, the distant stars of Zoryan and the tranquil light of Tsukiryuu proved insufficient to stem the tide of devastation sweeping across the land. To confront the rampaging Yokai and Akuma that plagued the continent of Dho, Zoryan reached into the heart of a dying star, forging Yanglong, the Kami of the Sun. Born of cosmic fire, Yanglong roared into existence as a force of relentless light and searing destruction, a being whose flames burned both to purify and renew.
Descending to the blighted lands of Dho, Yanglong waged war against the darkness, scorching corruption and bringing life from the ashes. From the sands of the desert, he breathed life into the Leonin, a race of fierce guardians who carry his fire in their hearts. Yet, even his flames could not extinguish the endless chaos. In an act of unity, Yanglong and Tsukiryuu combined their powers during the legendary Lianhe, casting the Yokai and Akuma into the Dream Realm and sealing them away.
Though the presence of both Yokai and Akuma seems to have faded, legends say Yanglong’s flame still burns in the heart of Dho, in the sacred Huoshi. His followers await the day of the Zuiri, when Yanglong and Tsukiryuu will return to banish the both the Yokai and the Akuma forever, sacrificing themselves to bring peace to Shivath.
